What you can expect from this 10 Day Wild Waters Explorer Adventure Tour: Your journey begins in Windhoek, capital city of Namibia. Navigate the winding streams and isolated lagoons of the Okavango Delta. Sit back and relax as your guide gently poles your “makoro” through these clear waters. Get up close and personal with some of the most exciting creatures on earth. Join the adrenaline junkies at Victoria Falls. Be insane for a day as you jump off bridges or boogie board head-first down the immense rapid runs of the Zambezi. Sit tight as you witness the Falls from a micro-light aircraft or take it easy on an upper Zambezi River cruise and watch the African bush go gently on by.

You will be met, 12:00 pm on day 2, by your crew, for the pick-up. Please bring with you – all your luggage your passport with relevant visa’s and evidence of medical and personal insurance.

Please also bring the Local Payment. This must be paid to the tour leader at departure and must be paid in US$ Cash. You will be departing Windhoek immediately on day 2 at 12:30 pm. Once all the formalities have been completed you will head for Maun, which is the gateway to the fantastic Okavango Delta. You will prepare for the following days to come and be briefed by your guides on what to take into the Delta.

Please remember space in the makoros (local word for canoe - and your mode of transport in the delta) is at a premium and a small overnight bag with your sleeping bag and necessary clothes for 3 days is all that is needed. Your travel agency will provide all camping and catering equipment and all foods.

Your campsite is just outside the center of Maun. Although a small town, Maun has several shops, good communications and banks. Camping in Sitatunga Crocodile Farm. Breakfast and Lunch.
