Day 11: Waterberg Plateau National Park, NamibiaYou leave Etosha bound for the stunning Waterberg Plateau National Park. Historically significant because it was the site of the war between the Germans and the Hereros, the area has now become a haven for many endangered species.
It is renowned for its incredible rock formations and walks. Your time in the Waterberg is your own and you are free to walk in the park at your leisure. Excellent well - marked hiking trails make for easy self - guided walks. Optional game drives and guided walks are available. Camping overnight (Bernard De La Bat – Waterberg Plateau). Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Day 12: Windhoek, NamibiaYou travel to Windhoek after breakfast and arrive early afternoon. You are dropped off at Hotel Pension Eros, Cnr of Eros and Omuramba Rd, Eros Park, Windhoek – the rest of the afternoon is free. The vehicle continues to Gobabis and onto Botswana and Victoria Falls – therefore please ensure that all your belongings are removed from the vehicle. You will spend the night at Pension Eros. Breakfast. Day 13: Windhoek, NamibiaTour ends after breakfast. Airport transfers or additional accommodation can be booked through your travel agent. Included:
- Fully equipped safari vehicle
- Services of tour leader and camp courier
- All accommodation, all catering equipment and National Park entrance fees
- Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner where specified (Meals not shown will be to the clients account. Occasionally breakfast and lunch may be combined into a brunch where necessary e.g. mornings with early game drives)
